all the 6th grade teachers would get together and give NO homework when one of them is going to assign a major project! My son is having
to grow tomato plants - 4 of them - 2 normal, 2 some kind of hypothesis (his are upside down). Each plant must be measured every day
plus the leaves must be counted, plus the branches counted, plus the weather noted, plus anything unusual - plus buds, fruit, etc. D
my son is a take his sweet time kind of homework kid and doing other homework every day PLUS this is a LOT!! The good news is we'll have
yummy homegrown tomatoes after he turns the project in and gets graded and we bring the plants home

wow! That's quite a project. I think some may be trying to throw everything in at the end, here. My 5th grader has 2 big projects due the
same week.
