also, if you search for tutorials online for the specific thing you need help with, often you'll find some good video tutorials.

creating a mask would be the best. you can duplicate the layer and use threshold to show only the tower, make a selection from that

then invert the selection, hid the threshold layer, and go back to your main layer. Then delete based on the selection.

the three lassos, are your best friends for that, I personally use the polygonal withFeather set to 0. It may take some practice at first

If you have areas with huge differences in colour try the Magic Wand playing with different values of tolerance and correcting it with lasso

inversing the selection back and forth helps you do corrections adding and removing areas
