say you had a list of all the things you wanted in a person.

where on that list does appearance appear?

first you should explain what appearance actually means to you

you'll get better answers

appearance plays a BIG role in first time attraction. but if a person is good looking, but rather stupid/daft, forget it.

appearance is 9 on my list

but once in a relationship, appearance isn't really that big of a deal. as long as the person maintains good personal hygiene.

does it matter? yes. strongly

so i give it a 9 as my answer

looks fade, its personality that makes it last, but my point earlier is that a persons persona

personality can make them appear more attractive then they actually are looks wise

like... hotness is not defined in how pretty/good looking you are... it matters... like for me, i'd want to wake up in the a.m. and want...

for me: so far a 7 has been my aim - yet I'm never satisfied coz the grass is ALWAYS greener, and it's too easy to keep trading up.

Well a 7 to me may be a 10 to someone else. Hard to define looks by a number that will be different for everyone.

In my opinion you have to factor in personality a bad personality will reduce a 10 to a 1.
