Yeah, I heard about this. It's not good at all.

What's not good about it? The current TLDs, while well intentioned, don't have any real meaning to them anymore.

... I'm looking forward to the day when I don't have to explain what TLDs are. They're irrelevant for 99.999999% of Internet users.

peat The Internet doesn't need change! It's basically been the same since forever, and we don't need a whole lot of crazy new suffixes.

Just because noobs don't understand what .com, .net, etc. means, doesn't mean it should be changed. The internet wasn't made for public use.
