ooh I'm bringing some marinated chicken!
pamibe says
Good, since I would know a marinated chicken if it bit me on the a$$!
Leanne says
I am *the* source for grilled chicken. Everyone loves it. Always juicy and tender. I love grillin' :-D
aithne says
we want Leanne's recipe!
Leanne says
I wish I had one. It's just the temp of the grill I think, searing the juice in and constant turning!
pamibe says
What about the marinade? Can you maybe post it for the uninformed griller? :-)
aithne says
Never thought of the searing. Will have to try that!
Leanne says
if you get a package of big fat chicken breasts, slice them in half so that they're thinner, like patties, and then marinate them
pamibe says
...and what temp is the grill supposed to be at? Does searing mean it's at a very high heat and cooks quickly?
Leanne says
i use teriyaki w/pineapple marinate
Leanne says
lawry's i think
pamibe says
Is that bottled?
Leanne says
so i thin them, and put them in a gallon size ziploc and dump in marinade
Leanne says
yes it's bottled by the bbq sauces
Leanne says
honey mustard is great too
Leanne says
but the grill & teriyaki is a great flavor
Leanne says
then fire up your grill, and close the lid
pamibe says
k, thanks!!
Leanne says
let it heat up to 350-400 degrees
Leanne says
open it up and throw the chicken on there quickly and close the lid
Leanne says
then flip it every 5 minutes for about 20 minutes
Leanne says
maybe 15
Leanne says
depending on how thin it is
Leanne says
you can put them on a whole grain bun with a slice of swiss, tomato, lettuce, cucumber, mayo & a bit of ketchup
Leanne says
OMG yuummmm
pamibe says
Excellent! Sounds delicious... and like I need to go to the store! THANK YOU! :-D
pamibe says

Leanne says
yes
Leanne says
you kinda butterfly the fat ones, kwim?
Leanne says
to expose the tender inside - it soaks up the marinade
pamibe says

aithne says

Leanne says
Oh I have my hubby hold an umbrella over my head. I've grilled in the rain and snow. I love grilled chicken!
pamibe says
