The last couple of days it seems the information we have all be fretting about is all coming out.

Mainly attrition, and then tried to make the rest come from a little bit of everywhere.

It's scary, isn't it? We've been lucky here in Colorado.... so far....

in higher ed they are freezing funding all over but I have particularly noticed ed tech positions

Even those who retain jobs will have to make adjustments for the lost positions.

Everyone is vulnerable...such an icky feeling.

One small private college told me at the end of this past semester (now) all it's first year faculty were being let go in the education dept

What besides staff are taking substantial cuts?
