This seems like a very bad idea; a limit of 1000 to the number of prims that one can take as a coalescence.

It's certainly inconvenient, but I think it's better than being able to
*take*
more than 1000, but never rez them because of a bug.

(Of course, not as good as being able to take and rez as many as you want without problems.)

So instead of finding and fixing the bug, the solution is to make it harder to do the things that cause it to manifest. Typical.

i'm not sure i wouldn't vote for this, but in many of the cases described, full builds could have been worked on and saved regularly w/ use

you can barely select 1000 prims without the client freezing or the server taking 20 minutes to let you change perms...

besides, anything larger than 1000 prims can easily be broken up into sections or components prior to taking it into inventory

i thought kisa's head might explode when they did this. Most of her builds are 4-5k at least.
