lol I'm not too much of a big fan of RoR I prefer PHP.

I've used PHP for years, but everywhere I turn I hear people talking about RoR and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.

I'm having trouble getting Mysql to work, so I think I'll try SQLite instead

PHP is a language and RoR is a framework for Ruby.

I bought a book a while ago, but it seems outdated, so I've been going with online tutorials.

The book was Ruby on Rails: Up and Running (2006)

yeah, I subscribed to it in iTunes, but haven't yet watched any. They seem like they'll be just a touch over my head at the moment.

you'll have to post a few things that you create using RoR once you get to grips with it.

That could take a while, but I plan to make millions off whatever I design... so you'll know.
