With the help of ndiswrapper, I went from a wireless bit rate of 14 Mbps to 130 Mbps on my Ubuntu laptop!
That's great. I never could get my wireless working correctly with ndiswrapper on my Dell. It worked but was really weak.
Are you using Jaunty? What NIC are you using?
