plurk is much more better for conversations and getting questions answered. I use twitter to update status without looking for replies.

biggest diff. is that when i go to plurk it's available, whereas twitter usually presents me with a whale carried off by birds.

Conversation. I can't follow twitter. It's too scattered to have a cohesive dialog. I don't use it anymore.
