tied up with some friends on the lake this afternoon and spent hours talking about all the times a boat has ended up causing trouble for us

our friends share that they witnessed a boat pull a tube right into the dam...

they waved them over for help and they ended up hauling the middle aged man to the dock to the ambulance...

the man did not want to go to the hospital.....didn't want to explain to his wife how stupidly he got hurt...

oh and his mistress was driving the boat.......the wife thought he was at work. :'-( :-D

ask BIL and wife (Duane & Karen) about the time their boat caught fire when they were living in Maryland.

They were on the bay and had to jump in and swim for it. (Karen didn't swim.) Onlookers just watched.

I watched from a front porch of a cottage as my DD & friend flipped a kayak in a lake. Inexperienced kayakers; they didn't know what to do

It seemed like forever before their astonished heads poked up out of the water, safely alive. They had to pull the kayak to shore b/c

they didn't think they could flip it back or get it in from the water. Wish I'd taped it!
