this whole karma formula is flawed. Plurk responses worth next to nothing vs. plurks. What makes them less valuable. Its conversation right?

I agree - it's just the # of posts I believe. And it almost waters it down because so many post things of little value like g'nite

and the karma is to motivate us to earn smileys - umm just give me the dang smileys & let me express myself! I will come back more

Interesting thing I notice I have a ten to one ratio of responses to Plurks. Also, apparently what really helps is to have a lot of

davidalston you're not alone in your assessment. many of us have happily chucked karma to the wind.

i've ignored it so far. seems like a joke to me that rewards plurks for the sake of plurks. annoying...

Karma is not something to worry about. There are those that will enjoy it, but it doesn't really add to the conversation.

actually it does add to the conversation. For several weeks people talked about it constantly. Then, you hit 60 and realize there is life

I honestly have little patience for those who are too wound up in karma scores. I didn't come here to be competitive, rather to converse.

I don't think it was competition. It was just something for people to have fun joking about together. It was like getting to the next level

When will I get the dancing banana, when will I get the beer mug crashing guys. It was common experience that facilitated play.

Too many "gotta get more karma" plurks and I get all mute-y.

It was just interesting to see the amount of conversation on it.I am sure Plurk didn't think it would occupy so much of plurkers thoughts!

Discussion should be it's own reward. Karma is the only thing I don't like about Plurk so I ignore it.
