this place used to be the family business, i owned part of it. When my brother died, my dad lost the will to keep running it... so we sold

when we sold, we had to sign a contract saying we would help run the business for the next 3 years

to ease the transition

and if we make money for the company, we get a big bonus at the end of each year.

so contractually and financially, i gotta stay.
