the fruits of my sleep deprivation. simple but inelegant. It amuses me... not gory enough though
are you going to colour this? If you're not, you should try playing with line width and making some a lot thicker, or adding spotted blacks
give it really dynamic lighting. if you're gonna colour it you don't need to change the lines, it'll look great already!
girl or boy? those pants look awfully tight XD
haha they might hurt. God this is cool. I WISH I COULD DRAW SO BAD
I feel like I have the eye for it...I mean I have a photographer's eye, so I see EVERYTHING in reference to if it would make a good picture
or not. and so sometimes i see something and i want to draw it
Sometimes i get really brave and I feel like my hand is just aching to sketch something
and then I put my pencil to paper and ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE
and im like. Oh yeah. I cant draw. At all
i dunno, i can draw but I can't take pictures! what does that mean?!
maybe it means that you find reality less interesting then imaginality
...ooo I made a good word
and I really havnt decided WHAT to do with it yet, if I do anything at all
general consensus is that those lines need to be toned down lol
kim is always distracted by crotches
also i feel that anyone can draw if they are willing to practice
i dontknow if i would personally say that about art, but i'd DEFINITELY say it about music
there are people without talent but are pure dedication, skill and practice. and music - just playing, not writing - is a physical action
with muscle memory and math, and can be learned by anyone. there is no 'art' to sightreading
but when you pass that certain point where you are sightreading and you are writing music, or maybe you are really talented and you give
certain songs colour and personality, that's where it comes in handy. or if you play by ear or have perfect pitch.. hmn.
yeah but you have to learn to sightread, right? anyone can learn that
it comes down to dedication and practice
yeah what i'm saying is that ANYONE can do music because.. it's all just learning skills.
like.. learning to read or write
drawing I find, unless all you are doing is still life, takes more 'talent', than music.
or rather music takes more repetitive practice and drawing is a teeeeensy bit more.. uh.. intuitive? what is the word I'm looking for? dang
but there are technical aspects of drawing that you can practice like scales: proportion, perspective, shading, structure
and it's through practice and integration of those skills that your drawing becomes intuitive
also i think you're comparing two different aspects: drawing from imagination and playing written music
instead of say drawing from imgination and improvisation or songwriting
i think a place that art is definitely separate from music... is STYLE... you can be awful in almost all aspects of art, but someone can dig
whatever you're doing... if you lack perspective, depth, anatomy, composition... some people just don't care... because it appeals to them
in some intrinsic way... music on the other hand... eff it... i'm not gonna listen to some guy with no rhythm or melody...
actually, after typing this i realized... noise music has a huge following... FAWK. THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE. YOU DON'T NEED ANYTHING BUT LUCK
