you ever just force yourself to finish a book that's going nowhere for the sense of accomplishment? Fuck, I'm hating this story :-(

Reader's Rules: A book is allowed 50 pages. If it cannot grab me by then, I move on.

You are under _no_ obligation to ever finish any book; it's not a duty you assign yourself. There's too much good reading out there.
