hahahaha bought an Ethernet cable installed the next extender and the services on my computer are so broken it won't run so IT is trying to upgrade it to Windows 10 as it will rebuild itself to see if that fixes the problem.

also I did about 50 phone calls today. 40 of them with co-workers 😭

good news! I got the desktop home and set up!!

Bad news: it doesn't have a wireless card so I need to find a 5m Ethernet cable or a wireless adaptor...

quick update before I sleep again (I've been sleeping a lot). computer repair people ordered parts and usually it would only take a few days to come in but with everything going on delivery is taking longer and no idea when they'll actually get the parts. Work is going wfh this coming week (I start Tuesday) so a coworker will bring a desktop by for me so...

Ok I guess I should go to bed....

I was supposed to hear from the computer people yesterday but I didnt. work is flat out and I'm developing a cough. fml. I'm praying to God it's my usual cough that I get at least once a year.
