I've been burning this candle all evening and barely any has burnt off. My room smells of lovely leather.

Well according to my brother the "bad noises" coming from my room are less bad, but to make up for it they're more frequent.

after a day of practice I can play a scale in A... dunno what it's called since I don't have a book.

The torturing has begun. I can now play 4 notes on the A string... badly but they can be played.
