almost through the first week of classes! Phew!

oh, lah! The heat -- not just a dry heat, but somehow it's humid, too. Phew!

just saw a public safety officer ride by on her bicycle. She was writing on a piece of paper on her knee and pedaling.

too pooped to pop.

a new parakeet. She is yellow, and I call her Lemon. Tonight she has a bloody wing but actually seems fine.

very excited about her MFA class this semester. It's all about narrative, and we're reading some classics!

my beloved husband didn't see the difference between a bleach pen & pre-wash detergent & now Andrew's khaki uniform pants aren't so uniform.

went to Tempe this a.m. for a district-wide orientation, and as I rounded a bend on I-10 the Phx skyline came into view, I got goosebumps.
