Just wasted 2 hours determining that prototype.js v1.6.0.3 doesn't implement this.up() correctly for IE7 or IE8. v1.6.1_RC3 works, though.

I am disgusted that Microsoft opted to extend support for IE6 until 2014. Ditch that dinosaur, people!
