HOORAY. The DSL lives. Mark was on the phone for eons, but the problem appears resolved. KNOCK WOOD.

Our freaking DSL is out of commission. @#*$&%+. Mark is on the phone with tech support, getting agita. Thank goodness for wireless internet.
