I picked up a pomegranate off the ground during Covid in 2020 from the neighbor's tree then planted some seeds. They grew into a small bush and now they're starting to flower. It required very minimal care.

We're supposed to be getting record high temperatures today but I don't feel it. Oh it's hot but not that hot. Must be the wind. If it weren't for the wind, I imagine my personal heat index would be scorching.

Shogun was wow. The last episode... they stuck the landing.

The heat is stressing out some of the "imported" pepper plants. They keep dropping their flowers. I have to go over and spray them with water to cool them off.

Of the women in Shogun, Mariko, Ochiba, and Fuji, I like Fuji best. The other 2 were obviously strong powerful characters. Fuji is a delicate little flower but with a surprising inner strength.

I bought a new pair of running shoes. They're from China and costs half of what I paid for my old pairs. They're built well and they're made with materials you'll find in high-end brands. NBA players use their shoes. But they're so noisy when running. Clop clop clop... So annoying

I've been handling some mango that's on its way to becoming vinegar and now my fingers smell like... bread? Maybe the yeast that grows in my environment is great for making sourdough bread.

Tried watching Three Body Problem. I failed.
