[UK pol] Across the pond two by-elections were held and both flipped from Conservative to Labour and one of them was considered "safe" for the Tories. Massive swings caused mainly by Conservative voters staying home in disgust.

[Pol] Chesebro pled out, the Judge in the Trump org. Civil case just read the defense the riot act after finding out a post was left up on the Trump campaign site for two weeks after the gag order and Jim Jordan just humiliated himself againand it's not past lunch time.

[Pol] Looks like Jordan is trying again this morning.

Almost a foregone conclusion it will fail and we'll see how many people abandon him this time.

[Pol] Jim Jordan read the writing on the wall and won't be holding another vote for speaker.

Current plan is to empower McHenry as Speaker Pro Tempore. We'll see how that goes.

... also Sidney Powell just pled guilty in the Georgia RICO case, meaning she'll testify against Trump et. al.

[Pol] Fun fact, Jim Jordan is the first majority party main nominee for speaker to get less than 200 votes for Speaker in 100 years. Also scuttlebutt says a third round would go even worse.
