what's really fun about unexpected expenses (thanks, apt complex + exterminators) is when your carefully checked and double checked and triple checked budget with NO wiggle room is decimated in one fell swoop.
What do you mean maintenance sometimes closes maintenance requests without actually coming by to fix anything? My STOVE isn't working because there was a LEAK they said wasn't LEAKING! It's been a week! Fix the damn thing!
Anyway, part of another tooth broke off while we were preparing the apartment for the exterminators. I sound like I'm slurring my words because the jagged edge is cutting up my tongue, so work this week will most certainly be fun.
Suuuuppppeeerrrrr fun to spend the majority of my day off ONCE AGAIN clearing my cupboards for the exterminators to spray. Not only that, I had to spend some rent money to buy Eddie a new harness and leash because we had to spend 3 hours outside while the bug spray fog cleared.
And here I am, working almost an entire shift on my fucking day off just because my internet wasn't working last Sunday and APPARENTLY I can't use my own PTO hours to cover or I'll get punished which makes NO FUCKING SENSE.
I'm just trying to get through my workday when the corner downstairs neighbor gets into a loud ass argument and basically admits to dealing drugs from his apartment, which we been knew, but hey.
I love it when my internet just decides to stop working while I'm trying to work from home.
Oh, boy! Rebelcaptain Secret Santa time! This is gonna be fun now that I've got 95% of the entire fandom blocked due to their rancid takes on Andor. I get the feeling I most likely will not be able to write for anyone this year.
My poor hometown was on fire again. Lost the last bar in town - which was a historic building. It could've destroyed the entire main street, so I'm glad nothing else was lost, but after the fire years ago that decimated half the town, this is sad.
