Just talked to the doctor - surgery was a success. They only had to take out 1/4 of the liver. We should be able to see her in 3 hours.

So apparently my mom's surgery started about 30 minutes ago. Quite a long waiting period just to start, considering she left at 7:15ish.

Too many laptops? Dad and I both brought our personal and work laptops to the hospital. ping.fm/iBHZC
