crap. it's finally clearing up and it's going to be getting a little cold. at least before when it was snowing every day, the clouds kept it warm enough it melted every day
I'm normally pretty firm on waiting until at least the weekend before Thanksgiving to start in with the Christmas things (except for maybe a quick burst of Christmas reblogs on November 1st) but it's already winter in Michigan, so it's getting me in the mood early
I'm warm it's so amazing and lovely. looks like 1 1/2 kiddie sleds of wood will keep me more than toasty all day long. I'm actually barefoot and not wearing a sweater and the house was still warm when we got up this morning
pro-tip: don't drive across Mackinac Bridge I. stormy weather in late October or November while listening to Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald... the lakes look scary, today and stuff like this makes me superstitious even if my brain tells me otherwise
today was cold and wet and rainy and I was out in it off and on for 2 1/2 hours. it soaked through my heaviest hoodie (we had to park the trailer and load the snowblowers and lawn tractor from hubby's dad's barn cus winter is coming™) so I got tea on the way back and wrapped up in blankets and fell asleep, oops
