Happy first birthday to my pal. She's snoozing again after her breakfast. Wouldn't be without her, she has changed my life, bless her stroppy little eyebrows.

Today’s sketch - think I’ll be doing the final version of a bigger bit of paper!

11 months old today. Still a cheeky little minx but I’d be lost without her now.

Been doing some more watercolours.

Back “home” for a while.

When you end up trying to sleep on a leather 2-seater settee because it’s too hot upstairs for the puppy & she won’t sleep anywhere other than with me.

More painting has been done. My first attempt at this scene went rather wrong, so I’m probably disproportionately pleased with this one.

A glorious day. Late afternoon walk in the New Forest (which isn’t really a forest) with a good friend, our dogs, and her two sons on horseback. Much-needed human companionship and just a lovely time.
