Merry Christmas, from a chilly Yorkshire & å festive Poppy.

Sunshine today!

Our walking in the country park, taking a different route from our usual one, met a couple with another mini Schnauzer. The dogs played with great enthusiasm, while we chatted. Gradually it became clear that their dog was Poppy's brother. They aren't local, so how amazingly random that our paths should cross!

A year ago today this little cutie came into my life. She changed my world and is just the best companion.

Just started my latest bag of Mexican coffee and, as always, raising my mug to The Frawg, who recommended it to me originally. So much was learned from him. ❤️

I'm not sure how to take this... I’ve been lying face down because my back is hurting. Poppy curled up alongside me. I finally got up & sprayed my back with freeze spray & did whimper a bit (it’s cold). Poppy got off the bed, went to the waste basket & has brought back a strip (used, empty) of my painkillers... Coincidence, or just - wow!?
