Ok, bizarrely, my drive plays the CD just fine, but won't play a random dvd I grabbed. I wonder if there's more I can do to troubleshoot dvd

oh no! my drive may not be working!

*sigh* apparently I got a bad disc, as my Snow Leopard disc won't do anything but spin and then get spat out of my drive. grrrrrrr
