Cold night. Thinking about my breakfast earlier: sun-dried tomatoes and cream cheese on freshly baked pan de sal. Creamy, sour, sweet and salty, all served in a piping hot package. My mother had the right idea in suggesting this combination.

Thanks to Mia for the bagnet. Cooked by my brother and it came out great! Crunchy, not greasy, and actually pairs well with kimchi on rice.

Nobody thought that the seed would turn into a gigantic tree.

It’s an ex-seed that ex-seed-ed expectations.

Thanks to my friend Shay for the tupig! Tupig is delicacy from Pangasinan province made of glutinous rice, coconut, and coconut milk. The mixture is wrapped in banana leaves and roasted over coals. It tastes slightly sweet and nutty, but mostly smoky. I love it!

Growing up, I had Angelina bread, not Gardenia, which is home to the best cheese bread ever. Don’t @ me.

I’m liking honey lemonade. Sour at the start to hurt, but sweet at the end to heal.
