A big part of creating and maintaining an Internet presence means being present and approachable. It means interacting and responding.

I also use Ping.fm to broadcast my messages across multiple accounts but I monitor comments on each account and respond. I actively engage.

1. Create content of value, whether it's entertainment, information, or my thoughts; 2. Follow up with my Subscribers, Friends, & Followers.

For me, it's important to follow up with people's comments and/or replies after I broadcast a series of posts. This is how I use Twitter.

It seems to be a good strategy for me that fits my personality and it is strategic. It's also a pattern. That's how I use Twitter.

When I get on Twitter, mostly what I'm doing is a show. I then follow up on the replies. I try to combine good info with enterntainment.

I think it's funny that most of the responses I'm getting are coming from women. lol. It's really bad when women want to punch the guy too.
