well, i often got presents from my parents on my birthday since i was young, but we didn't celebrate it. sometimes my mom cooked nasi kuning, but that's all.

why did i think they will forget about my birthday? because it's not my family tradition to celebrate our birthday. my parents think blowing candle, singing happy birthday, etc are such a christian tradition.
