I take full responsibility for my kids as a homeschool educator/parent, but not every parent can or should make that choice.

Agreed, but I also see lots of working class parents in our area doing their best, but shut down by school administrators.

Great point that schools are doing a lousy job of teaching history & science, but at least, many are pushing science education.
