Win 7 reinstalled. W8 Desktop mode and W8 metro mode do not play well enough together. Even the Mac OS9 to OSX transition was smoother.

Where are the advantages of windows 8 mode on a desktop PC ? Single window full screen apps are useless on multi large screens setup. 
First contact with Windows 8 on a brand new desktop PC. Looks like an alien with two heads. Not sure which one to use.. It’s a tile dilemma!
