Been on generator since about midnight. No damage. Inlaws have tree branch through their roof. Everyone ok. That's what's important.

Power is back... yay!

And the whirring of the generator has begun. We lost power at 3:20 p.m. EDT.

Went to the post office this a.m. to do passports. Wasn't open yet. Went back, found out we need an appointment. Going later today. Sheesh!

Battening down the hatches...

First it was an earthquake. Now preparing for a Hurricane. Yay, I just love weather! (Well, not this week!)

Wow. I think I can finally call it a day. And what a day it was! Here's to hoping I DON'T feel the Earth move tonight!

Aftershock...

Wow. Never felt an earthquake before. Weird. Don't wanna feel one again.

Want to blog, but I think sleeping is a higher priority for now. Maybe tomorrow...
