The sun is breaking through clouds and it’s been dry all day today and yesterday. River doesn’t look high. I just got an emergency local flood warning through 10pm tonight. It’s supposed to start raining later. How much is it going to rain?!? I can’t believe we are going from sunny and dry to flood, in the next 8 hours

Well the answer was, a lot. I’ve been up since 4 because the rain keeps coming down in blasts that are too loud to sleep through. I’m sure it’s been several inches of rain in the last few hours. No flooding that I can see in the dark. Crazy.
