Huh. Work just sent an e-mail saying that if we are eligible to accrue PTO, we are no longer eligible to accrue sick time. Which ... seems pretty fucking illegal to me? But does explain why I haven't accrued sick time since January.
That's ... not the same thing so I don't know how one applies to the other.

But with the way this company does business, it DOES make sense that they made this change SIX FUCKING MONTHS AGO and only JUST NOW decided to let employees in on it.
It's the type of frustration that's on par with Wal-Mart not paying holiday pay because they gave us an hour lunch break every day like ... no. That's not how that's supposed to work.
First of all, I was only part time, I didn't always GET a lunch break sooooooo. Where's the benefit for me?
Anyway, it's whatever. I"m still revamping the resume to rejoin the job hunt for the third time in three years.

Cool, I had 76 PTO hours banked at CaptionCall before I started using them sooooooooo 40 means absolutely nothing to me.
Had my weekly 'this is how you could be doing better' meeting and it took everything I have not to say that I don't fucking care if I get any better at what I do, I'm not actively trying to.
You could push a little harder - I could, but no is a complete sentence for me. You say no, okay, that's fine.
You could be asking for referrals - I sure could, but it's not a requirement and we already have SO MANY requirements on calls that I'm not adding something extra and risk failing my QA calls.
So. You can take the effort that I'm giving because it's probably going to wane in the upcoming days because I simply do not give a fuck anymore.
