That's sad. Children need these programs because parents can't watch them after school. I was lucky that I had my mom at home, but that came at a cost. She couldn't help with the household income. She needed to care for my older sister who is mentally disabled and needed extra services. It took over 10 years to get the right services in place for her.

It's very tough on parents.
