I received positive feedback that my manager provided to my recruiter. I'm grateful. But no confirmation of a hire date. She said she was aware it was a contract role. Ummm. I wasn't thrilled about that answer.
She said "they" would hire the person who was reliable and dependable. I'm guessing they is operations. This second part of the answer made me uneasy. I can stick around and see what happens after December.
