I think it's safe to say that AI won't fully replace programming jobs in near future. It does things fast, but the reasoning is often flawed. It even confidently asserted a root cause for some concurrency bug . . .

but on the other hand, they are also (still) (unfortunately) good at introducing subtle bugs and technical debts. ones that will leave you head scratching finding out the problem when everything 'looks right'.

. . . which is almost like human programmers, when you really think about it. huh.
