I sent what I could now. Our fence blew down...so it's like 200+ to repair, and it's a situation we live too close to other people so it can't be put off. It has to get done. If I'm able to, I'll send more later.

Yeah, we TRIED to find a place that didn't have an HOA because that sounds like a rich neighborhood thing? That's when I found out they are just a THING now. And it was either live in the city - where my husband didn't want to be - in a house that likely only had a one car garage, in a much older house, FOR THE SAME PRICE, or move out here with a bigger

garage and get stuck with an HOA, but have a newer home. HOAs are stupid. I hate them. You just pay them money to...do very little good for you. At least ours doesn't interfere with much. Like, people here paint their houses purple and it seems fine, but ungh. I don't get why everyone wants them everywhere, now. useless and controlling. And I do prefer

wood to wire? But I don't think we've gotten through a high wind incident without a fence panel falling down. I think back in spring it was THE ENTIRE right side, not just a section. It gets tiring and a bit expensive. IF I had realized this? I would have asked for at least 10K off the final cost. Something.
