it works like a charm on the bath tub and the bathroom sink, but this is the first time I used it on something else. I fiddled with that hose (and without a dishwasher) for a week trying to get it unclogged

and I got tired of buying huge things of draino. This works better, immediately, and without dumping toxic waste down the drain.
