so the first one was last week on Friday while I was on my way home.

I dropped fairly late in the day at a rest area about 5 miles from the Virginia state line coming from North Carolina. It was starting to get dark already but I just took off without thinking about where I was heading.

I didn't think about the fact that I was fixing to drive through the virginia mountains on US 58. Now, during the day? They are already terrifying for me because I am terrified of heights. At night they are even worse.

So I'm driving through fairly slowly because it is curvy AF and there was snow and sludge on the ground. Was not about it. So again, slow.

Its dark. I am the only car on the road. No clue how far from the nearest house because I'm literally on top of a mountain and can see NOTHING. I round a very sharp curve...and ended up swerving so hard I almost flew into a guard rail.

Because there was a little girl. In the middle of the road. WITH BLACK FUCKING EYES you guys.

I stopped and turned my head to stare at her for a minute. She just turns her head and stares back at me. Glares really. Again, middle of nowhere. She is in a dress and sandals. No socks. Short sleeves. It is FREEZING outside, okay?

Needless to say, I turned back around and took off. Refused to stop for HOURS until I was far, far away from there. I was too freaked out.

Now. This mornings experience. So, my driver this morning wanted to leave out at like 3:30 am. Because in Kentucky, you can drive oversize loads 24/7. There are no daylight curfews.

So we take off. We were getting close to Louisville and I was just listening to YouTube in one ear and directing the driver and listening to him with the other.

Suddenly I hear something incredibly weird and I didn't know what to think. Which is why I'm hoping for opinions.

Does anyone remember all the hype like...what a year or a couple years ago where people were freaking out about hearing massive trumpeting coming from the sky?

That is what I heard. One of my windows doesn't roll up right so it always stays cracked on one side. So I heard it. Paused the video and rolled both my front windows down and just heard insanely loud trumpets blowing. And I mean, I tried to write it off as maybe the sound of wet tires (since its been raining all day)

Or something. But at one point we were stopped. Traffic back up going into louisville. So there was nothing moving around us. My driver heard it too up in his truck. I could see a couple of cars around me on the interstate reacting too. People rolling their windows down IN THE RAIN to listen.

And I'm just kinda freaked out
