since living with my mother-in-law, the oldest expiration date on food so far is 2014. With her Alzheimer's it is still in early stages, but short term memory is starting to go. The other day we filled 3 grocery bags of expired food. We have held off on the frozen meat that expired in 2015 until trash day today. We don't want the smell.
