In a wild coincidence, I was scrolling through Reddit over the weekend and saw a recommended post about someone asking about skinny drawers. I thought, huh, looks like our old kitchen counters, stove, and the layout sounds similar too. I message the poster and cut to today, we have confirmed that they bought our old landlady’s house!

Set up for my store’s Halloweeny Themed Success Sharing party last night! Today was Haunted Movie Theater.

Thought I could go to work today since I spent all day yesterday doing nothing in an effort to heal quickly, but no, I got to suddenly experience massive coughing attacks all last night to the point where 1) I didn’t get any sleep and 2) my throat is just beat to shit. So, called out again today. We’ll try again tomorrow but I don’t have high expectations.

Half way through the day yesterday my throat suddenly felt like it was on fire and now it’s a full blown cold that apparently my mother has been fighting for a bit, so it’s her fault. Tuesdays are my absolutely have to be at work day, so I’ve been locked in my office with half the lights on and the blinds drawn. Managers keep telling me to go home.

Made my nana’s chocolate sauce for the first time in a while and put a little on Trader Joe’s Horchata ice cream and it was dopeeeeee

Ordered new glasses!

Went to a baby shower that is apparently more of an open house style aka I was over dressed because I was trying to meet my mother’s usual expectations of what I should wear to a shower. Add to that not knowing really much of anyone other than the expecting parents, and three other people my parents age. Totally uncomf.

Went to the Ren Faire in Snohomish Friday night and Saturday! Much fun, a little sunburned haha

Potluck at work tomorrow, so making scotcheroos and blackberry cobbler today. Toasty.

I am making keychains for my store’s VOA aka Voice of the Associate survey. I did not need to make keychains, but an idea popped into my head, and I bought the supplies. I didn’t know if it would work well or turn out janky; luckily they look pretty dope!
