Our apartment is finally almost done

We are officially in the new apartment!

Tomorrow we brave the horde of boxes, bags, bins and furniture

Day 1 Moving is done.
1 trip in the 10’ box truck and my stepdads flatbed. All that is left is the larger furniture and QO has a friend picking up a new box truck tomorrow morning and we already took apart the couch. Once all the furniture and last minute stuff has been moved, then we can clean the old place and then load up the food and go to our new home.

Moving Day 1 is tomorrow.
U-Haul box truck and my stepdads flat bed truck to haul all the boxes and the smaller furniture pieces.
Moving Day 2 is Saturday and will be larger furniture in my stepdad’s flatbed. Once everything is taken out, then we can take down all the pictures and string lights and then clean everything.
SO looking forward to being done.

Even when I’m housesitting at my moms trying to go to sleep I am thinking about and strategizing packing haha
So ready to have already moved

Personally, I’m starting my day with mimosas and two crockpots running with a breakfast casserole and a french toast casserole.

Today is my Make/Bake day
- learned how to make meringue cookies
- meringue cookies are like absolute crack
- made a bunch of compound butters (maple cinnamon, pumpkin spice, orange cranberry, bacon maple)
- still have butters to make (horseradish, garlic herb, chocolate, and more maple cinnamon)
- still need to mix and bottle the hot honey
How is it only 6?

I think maybe I broke my pinky toe Saturday night...
But my toxic trait is that since I can still walk fine and move my toe around, I’m going to wait a few days to see if it’s just severe bruising. 🤞🤞

The woman in the stall next to me is on a phone call and all she is saying is “bueno” in varying different tones and inflections and I am bamboozled
