Big thing off the list. Just came back home from meeting the notary. We put all the paperwork together to send to the courts for the certificate of inheritance. The notary was real nice and gentle and took care of so many things for me, it was obvious that she has experience with these things.

Just a little update. I am still struggling many times, there are still things to take care of that take time and a lot of energy and the nights and evenings are difficult because it's too quiet and I am so used to us talking random shit. But I'm also kinda okay. Breathing and stuff.

Happy to see that there is a new season of Resident Alien. I enjoyed the first one a whole lot!

This little friend sat next to me in the bank on the edge of the other chair, when I had to take care of Michael's account now that I finally got the death certificate. It's really unusual to find one there tbh it was nice. And it stayed until I was done.

Today is Michael's Burial. I won't be there. It's in the village where he grew up and not only am I not up for travel, but he believed that after he is gone, this is only a body not him. I am respecting that, while also respecting his parents' need for a service. I also said my farewells months ago. But their village

I don't think I mentioned it, but I kept saying for about 35 years that I suck at drawing and so I didn't really try much. Having this weird urge to be perfect at first try or I am just not good at it. Anyway I got myself a sketchbook and sometimes I doodle in it. No matter if it is good or bad I just do it. And it's actually fun.
