I have been adulting. I had an appointment at the bank and finally have movement in getting access to Michael's account. I'll get that stuff soon, until then they gave me the transaction overview since January so I've been emailing and calling companies to change things to my name and such. Still a lot to do, but I feel good now that I can make some progress

I'm still here, just more quiet. Still dealing with my grief in surprising moments, when it hits me in the face like a ton of bricks, after thinking I'm fine for a bit. Thursday would have been M's birthday and my friends kept me occupied with RP and voice chat. Cannot say how much I appreciate every single one of them.

It would have been my wedding anniversary today. It makes me sad that Michael cannot be here to celebrate it with me. He wanted so hard to make it to today. But none of that takes away the 26 years we had since meeting. Thank you, my love for sharing that time you had with me.

As always, every year, my birthday was yesterday, but today I have told myself (since I was younger and knew what happens in the states on July 4th) that these fireworks are belated celebrations for me. So even if there is not much to celebrate in the States these days, you are welcome to celebrate my birthday a day late
