I want to read but my brain won't let me disappear into story. Have you ever experienced that? No matter what you pick up the story can't grasp your attention no matter how good it is?

Headed to a writing workshop today. I love workshops. But I guess I better go get ready.

It's one of those days when I'm upright enough that I could get some work done, but wiped out and fuzzy enough that I'd rather just go back to bed. I hate these days.

I'm unpleasantly sick with something affecting ears, nose, and throat. Not fun. Doesn't help that it's 4am and can't sleep.

sighs Sometimes body clocks are a pain, I could sleep in for another hour (after all I had a late night)but my brain is wide awake already. Guess I'll get up and use it productively despite the lack of sleep.
