Slow lorising my way into fresh clothes that I can wear out of the house, so I don't get sidetracked & forget to get the rent check to the bank today. (First two days of the month, we get a discount, but then it goes up the aforementioned discounted $50, and I would just. Rather not.)

My knees are making (painless! thankfully) delightfully horrifying popping popcorn sounds when I bend and/or extend the joint. I'm on my way to find a heating pad (there's supposed to be some Weather blowing in, as well as yo-yoing temps in the next couple days), but still stopped to bend&extend my leg a couple times & so I could listen, first.

Max has continued the morning's trend of being a mild but persistent nuisance, so I guess I'm up.

My mom has multiple water dishes set up in the cat feeding area. My cat? Now requires that I have a giant mug of water in my space too, and drinks out of it regularly. If I don't keep it there, he'll try to drink out of whatever cup I'm currently using, regardless of contents.

Today I got emails from Rover saying my profile was approved, and the person in charge of hiring for Phoenix Comic Can't Call it Con Anymore. I'm putting "sit down and respond to both of these" at the top of the day tomorrow.

The rain is coming do-o-own (hooray!), and Mr Maxface is being INTENSELY snuggly. After the last few days, I'm giving myself permission to take advantage of this & chill for a while. I'm setting an alarm so if I doze off, I won't lose the WHOLE day, but I'm definitely letting myself get a late start. 😊

Investigated stack of boxes of unknown contents. In one, discover TREASURE TROVE of old art and writing, some of which dates back to high school, including the ORIGINALS of some things I thought only existed as terrible, early 00s-era scans. Logs printed out so I could take them with me to reread later. (Logs whose digital files are long gone.)
